QUIET SOULS

I find comfort walking among the dead.

The rolling green hills, rows of tombstones,

Quiet souls rest here.

The perfect peace, tranquility, the absolute stillness.

Hearing nothing but the sound...

The sound of ghostly footsteps keeping pace with mine.

Some fear to walk where angels sleep,

But I find no such fear in my heart.

Only peace.

Why should I be afraid

When quiet souls take me in their arms?
