LESS THAN HUMAN

To err is human, they say.
But I say, "Strive for perfection!"
"Make no mistakes!"
Anything less
Is less than human.

People depend on me
To keep my head screwed on straight,
But I can't keep my head.
I am less than human.

I should be assimilated into part of a greater collective.
Borg, android, robot.
No room, no chance for error,
No feeling.

Because being less than human
Is better than a lifetime
Of feeling less than human.
