Subtlety is my specialty
When trying to get you to notice me.
But I'm tired of subtlety
In the face of a blind man.
Makeup and hairstyles aren't my thing,
But I'll curl my hair,
Hoping it will frame something right for you.
I'll paint my eyes
Hoping they'll help you see me better.
I prefer plain t-shirts and jeans,
But I'll primp, preen, and push up my diminuitive 36-A's,
Shove them in your face and shout
"HEY!"
"Look at me!"
"I'm a woman!"
I won't hesitate to use my feminine wiles
My
Feminine attributes
To get your preliminary attention,
Your preliminary affections.
But once I have you in my grasp,
I hope you can see
Beneath the paint,
Beneath the primp
Beneath the pretty woman
To see a heart so true
A heart that beats for you
To see a woman who loves you
