REQUIEM FOR LONELINESS ON THE PORCELAIN ALTAR

Could you count me in your own needs?

Take me into your fold

'Cause this dark loneliness for me

Is growing out of contorl.

Do you even know who I am?

Do you know my own hell?

Would you bother tot ake my hand

And ask if I'm well?

Do you even see my plight

Like a plague in me,

Crawling under my skin so tight

A companion to me.

Hello, do you know who I am

Do I know myself

Taking the time to hold my hand

And see that I'm well

Pictures, memories hang on the wall

As I sit here brooding

On the porcelain alter, small

Cold, naked, moody
